This quirky apartment connects to our client’s Grade II Georgian home, via a secret door in their utility room. They wanted us to create a stylish yet fun place for their visiting friends and family to stay.
Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, (Lewis Carroll apparently took inspiration for the rabbit hole from a nearby secret underground tunnel leading to Brighton promenade), we included soft elegant neutrals, luxurious textures, all combined with an eccentric array of accessories and artwork.
The resulting space felt comfortable and inviting with a quaint mischievous vibe, which worked well with the unusual existing features – the perfect whimsical guest haven for a weekend stay in Brighton!
