What you will gain from an interior Design Consultation:

These are a great way to begin your design journey. Together we can decide the best way forward to get you on the road to starting your design project.
If you want to engage my bespoke project service, I will use this meeting to ascertain your project brief and provide a fee proposal.
An interior design consultation are also perfect place for brainstorming any interior design decisions, asking place to ask any decorating questions or advice regarding furniture layout or placement.

What to expect:

During this 90 minute (or so) meeting, I’ll take a look at your home and you can ask me any interior design related questions you like.
Prior to our meeting, I’ll ask you to complete a detailed questionnaire so we can hit the ground running and maximise our time together.
You will gain more clarity regarding any interior design conundrums for your current space or gain confidence in the next steps of your new design project.

Whats included:
  • Detailed questionnaire.
  • Prep and research prior to consultation.
  • 90 minute (remote or in person) interior design consultation.

This service is divided into six phases detailed below.

Project Brief:

This bespoke service begins with a interior design consultation where we kick off your design project and explore your aesthetic visions, functionality of space and design requirements in depth.

After the consultation, I will put together an interior design fee proposal and Project brief which will include:

  • Agreeing scope of work.
  • Spacial requirements.
  • Stylistic preferences.
  • Approx budget / timescales.

I will forward your project brief and fee proposal for your approval, alongside my T&C’s.

Conceptual Design:

Once you are happy with the proposed Project brief we can get to work producing the conceptual design.

I will revisit your home to measure and dive deeper into the project brief. This stage is where I set the design foundations, to make the most of your space. This first phase of your design will include:

  • Researching creative solutions.
  • Moodboards and colour boards.
  • Curated samples of proposed materials and finishes.
  • Initial space planning.
  • Preparing outline design proposals in both 2d and 3D to ascertain proposed look and feel of new space.
  • Liaison with architect / structural engineer / heritage consultant (if applicable).
  • One set of revisions (if required).

I will present the conceptual design to you. Once you are happy with the proposed look and feel of your new design, we move onto the next stage.

Design Development:

This is a robust stage where I specify exact dimensions, colours, fabrics materials and finishes. I also may produce detailed technical drawings for bespoke joinery. We source and specify furniture, lighting, soft furnishings (FFE) and receive detailed costings. Generally, this stage includes:

  • Advance the conceptual design.
  • Bespoke joinery design.
  • Develop detailed proposals and FFE specifications.
  • Technical plans / drawings (eg, lighting and electrical plans).
  • Liaison with joiner, trades and bespoke suppliers, eg, window treatment supplier.
Construction:

This is where your project comes alive. I will work alongside your nominated contractor to implement your new interior design scheme. This phase generally consists of:

  • Attend site regularly to review the delivery of the design.
  • Address issues / contractor queries.
  • Keep client up to date on progress.
  • Address snagging issues with contractor.
Procurement, install & styling:

I can undertake all ordering and purchasing of your furniture and accessories on your behalf and you can take advantage of my trade discounts which I will pass on in full.
I will also organising all furniture installation, mirror/picture hanging, instruct lighting installation with the contractor and style up your space with your chosen accessories and ornamental items.

Handover:

Our final meeting where we walk through at your newly renovated space and marvel it its gorgeousness. Its also an opportunity to provide you with any product or appliance documentation, warranty’s, certificates etc.
Investment: The cost of this service is calculated on a case-by-case basis and will depend on a number of things, such as scale of project, nature of property, brief etc.
I generally begin this project with an Interior Design Consultation, where I visit you at your property and I can ascertain full project scope and provide a Project brief and quotation.

Prices generally start from £5,000 for a single room and £25,000 for a full house design.

I’ll visit you at home (or commercial space) to discuss your project in more detail.
I’ll ask a lot of questions and invite you to share your inspirational interior images to help articulate your ideal interior space into a realistic and achievable concept for you to apply.
We will explore your interior design likes (and hates!) and talk about how your space will work (ie, the functionality), and how you want your space to feel.
We can break the creative process down into a manageable visual plan with written guidance, to help guide you along the first steps of your design journey.
Afterwards, I’ll develop a digital design pack capturing how you want your space to look as well as feel.
I’ll present this to you alongside some carefully selected samples, based on your personal preferences.
If there is any element of your new conceptual design you don’t love, I can get it right for you.

  • You’re not ready for a full renovation but would like to update or modernise your current space with new accessories or artwork.
  • You are generally happy with your current space but its lost its mojo and needs reinvigorating.
Here’s how it works:

Together we can breath new life into your existing design scheme by introducing a fresh injection of style.
You’ll be presented with a curated selection of carefully chosen accessories to compliment your current interior scheme, which you can either purchase or take inspiration from.
You get to feel excited with your space and know you have a super-stylish, comfortable home / workplace which brings you joy.

What to expect:

I’ll meet with you and learn more about your requirements, aesthetic / style & develop a full understanding of your space and how you would like it to feel.
During this meeting, I’ll ask lots of questions and invite you to share interior images which make your heart sing, to help me visualise your ideal space.
Afterwards, I’ll select a range of accessories that really bring your existing scheme together. This could include lighting, artwork, ornamental pieces, rugs or soft furnishings.
I’ill present these on a digital design board with clickable links, alongside written design ideas and suggestions.
I know you will love my ideas but if there is any element you don’t love, I can get it right for you.
