How much should I expect to pay for an interior designer?
Every ‘full service’ project is unique and we price accordingly.
Whatever your vision or requirements, we work thoughtfully to ensure that our design and furnishing selections align with your style, your needs and your budget.
To make sure you get our best ideas, creative energy, considered design and attention to detail, we have a minimum level of engagement of £5000 (for a single average size room) room in design fees on our ‘full service’ projects.
This fee does not include tax and does not cover materials or items and payments will be spread over the duration of your project. After meeting with you and visiting your property, we will have a good understanding of your preferences, needs and priorities, and at this stage will prepare a bespoke fee proposal, which details the phases of your project and our fees at each stage.
How do you charge for your services?
We charge a fixed fee for our design services based on the amount of work we estimate it will take us to get to a design you love and that functions perfectly for your space.
We don’t work off hourly rates because we know that having budget certainty is important. This way you know the cost for the design work upfront and can factor this cost into your budget planning from the start.
When should I start looking for an interior designer?
It’s a good idea to talk to a designer early on in your project as possible.
If you are looking at a renovation project you need to bring your designer on board at the very beginning.
How many clients do you work with at any one time?
Due to the personal and bespoke nature of our full design service, and the attention to detail we bring to each of our projects, we only work with a select few clients at any one time.
If you are working to a particular timeline then contact us now and we can let you know our availability for your project.
What should I bring to my initial consultation?
You can prepare for your initial design consultation by compiling a list of questions and gathering inspirational images.
Pinterest ids a great place to start gathering images and you can share your boards to a board with me.
What if I don't like the design?
If there is anything you don’t love about your design, I have you covered as one set of revisions is included as part of your package.
If multiple amendments are required this will be charged at an hourly rate or a further fixed price can be arranged.
This is unlikely since I take a full and comprehensive design brief at the beginning of your project.
