How the process works
01 – Consultation & Brief
Every residential project begins with a £300 Interior Design Consultation.
This gives us the opportunity to explore your property, ideas, priorities, budget and timescale and establish the appropriate scope for your project.
Following the consultation, if you would like to proceed with further design services, we’ll prepare a bespoke project brief and fee proposal for your approval.
02 – Concept Design
Once the brief is agreed, we’ll develop the creative direction for your interior.
Depending on the project, this may include space planning, moodboards, colour and material palettes, initial furniture and lighting ideas, samples and 2D or 3D visuals.
The aim is to establish the overall look, feel and functionality before moving into the detail.
03 – Design Development
The approved concept is then developed into a detailed scheme.
Furniture, lighting, finishes, fabrics and fittings are selected and specified, alongside kitchens, bathrooms and bespoke joinery where required.
We’ll also develop the drawings and design information needed to communicate the scheme to the relevant trades, suppliers and specialists.
04 – Implementation
Once the design is ready to be implemented, we can continue to provide design support throughout the project.
This can include liaison with your appointed contractor, trades, architect and specialist suppliers, site visits at key stages and responding to design queries as the work progresses.
05 – Procurement & Installation
Where included within the project scope, we can source and procure furniture, lighting, window treatments, accessories and other specified items on your behalf, coordinating suppliers and installation as required.
Any trade discounts we receive are passed on to our clients in full.
06 – Styling & Handover
The final layer brings everything together.
Depending on the project, this may include artwork, accessories and styling, installation of the final pieces and a walkthrough of your completed interior.

Elixir’s Turnkey Interior Design service is designed for clients who want a greater level of support throughout the creation of their home.
It is particularly suited to overseas and absent owners, second-home owners and busy clients who may not be able – or simply don’t want – to manage the many individual decisions, purchases and installations involved in bringing an interior together.
From establishing the design direction through to sourcing furniture, lighting and furnishings, coordinating procurement and installation, and adding the final styling touches, I can oversee the interior design elements of the project from beginning to end.

02 – Concept & Design Development
I’ll develop the overall creative direction and then translate the approved concept into a detailed interior scheme.
Depending on the project, this can encompass layouts, colour and material palettes, furniture, lighting, window treatments, kitchens and bathrooms, bespoke joinery, artwork and accessories, supported by the relevant specifications, drawings and visuals.
03 – Sourcing & Procurement
Once the design is agreed, I can manage the sourcing and procurement of the specified furniture, lighting, soft furnishings, window treatments and accessories on your behalf.
Any trade discounts I receive are passed on to my clients in full.
04 – Implementation & Installation
I can liaise with your appointed contractors, trades and specialist suppliers on design matters as the project progresses, with site visits at key stages where included within the agreed scope.
I’ll also coordinate the installation of the specified furniture, furnishings and decorative elements as required.
05 – Final Styling
The final stage is about bringing all the layers together – from furniture and artwork to accessories and finishing details – to create a complete, cohesive interior ready for you to enjoy.
