This project is a Georgian townhouse in Brighton. The brief was to respect the original architecture while creating a modern, flexible home suited to contemporary living, working from home and entertaining.
The clients are keen cooks who love hosting, and the interiors reflect their personalities and influences — including African heritage, a love of art and collecting, and an appreciation for mid-century design. Original-style panel detailing was reinstated to add texture and depth to the walls, creating a considered backdrop for the clients’ art collection and houseplants.
